All About Me...

Hi, I’m Baylee Cornell, the photographer behind BC Photo. I started my photography journey in 2020 when I got my first camera, and I immediately learned how to shoot in manual mode. I dove into understanding the exposure triangle, practiced constantly, and built my foundation from the ground up with an entry level camera.

Since then, photography has grown with me. I’ve upgraded through multiple cameras and today I primarily shoot with a Canon R5, along with Canon R6 Mark II bodies as backups. I love working with different lenses depending on the session and the feel I want to create. I’m also currently exploring film photography, which I offer as a small add on for wedding clients who want something a little more timeless and nostalgic.

My style is very natural and people focused. I want sessions to feel comfortable and real, not forced. I guide posing in a way that still leaves room for genuine moments, laughter, and personality to come through. I pay attention to light, movement, and connection, and I care just as much about how the moment feels as how it looks.

Outside of digital work, I’m constantly learning and growing my craft. I’m always experimenting with new techniques and staying inspired through travel and real life experiences. I am constantly investing in my education and my business... I’ve been fortunate to photograph in different places, both locally and while traveling, and I love being able to bring that sense of adventure into my work.

When I’m not photographing weddings or sessions, I’m usually with my husband Brennen and our puppy Sissy.  I’m always on the go, whether that’s traveling, working, or spending time at home in Ohio and keeping things organized and creative in my own space...

At the end of the day, photography is not just what I do, it’s what I care about. I don’t take it lightly when someone trusts me with their wedding or their memories. I show up prepared, organized, and ready to make the experience smooth, relaxed, and fun from start to finish.
